    Special project =

Please review the final posted MGLogs.zip from the Malware Forum's completed threads from the past 3 months:
Compile all the legit HJT entries and known good processes from the procdll.txt logs into a database for me to compare to mine. (I'm working various shifts during the holidays and may not have sufficient time.)

    I have a project for you:confused

I want a direct X compatible jukebox, one that I can open in the bottom left or right of my screen using hotkeys and select songs while gaming. The only way to do this ATM is using something winamp and hotkeys or alt tab out of the game,or write a plugin for VLC or something.

If you can't write that search for me one that accomplishes the same:-D

Unfortunately we are too busy to offer training to anyone who is not already a recognized expert. There are a few websites that provide training rooms. The process can take awhile to complete since there is a lot to learn and the people training you are doing it in their free time. Make sure that you are serious about wanting to spend the time to learn and have the time to perform malware removal this because it takes a strong committment. Check out the below sites:

    BootCamp

    Geek U!

    What the Tech Classroom

    BleepingComputer Malware Removal Training Program

Secondly, please create me a website that generates me some income!! ;)

:confused All you have to do to offer support for networking is reply to threads as accurately as possible if someone has a problem...or is there some "new" way of helping out I don't know about???

I have to agree with TimW and Abby in that if you are bored then think of an area to concentrate on and hit that area with if its tech support good honest answers, dont guess or google as they stick out like a sore thumb! and will not get you a good name in the online tech community.

If its developing an application then superb, get some testers onboard (I will gladly jump in and assit you in testing and feedback) and see where it runs, a good area to develop is PC cleaning, as in the ilk of CCleaner with a mix of Everest, I for one would like to see a better version of this type app thats free and unrestricted.

I'm never bored, I for an example dived deep into Windows OS many years back and via tech support, tech beta testing and feedback gained a MS MVP in Win Desktop Ex, in my professional career I have developed from a template a viable and running medical assessment clinic (I'm not a Doc but this clinic works for fast tracking specific eye disease), to being a co-author on many medical papers. Presently I'm dealing with 3 projects from AMD and Diabetes and with a 4th on the way.... so no rest for the evil ;)

I wish I had more time available as I wish to assist more here on MGs software/drivers/hardware etc forums, to really get my blog more upto date, test more software and the list goes on.....

Zack never be bored as I bet you have many ideas in your head, just step back and start thinking in a project managers type roll and plan a timeline to get any given project an endpoint, I know your young but start this type of thinking now and you will suceed massively.

I believe we have a forum for that, Zack. It is in need of people that can assist those with networking issues. Dive in and help that forum to be as successful as the other forums. ;)

Hehehe, all I was going to say was go and take a walk in the real world to get away from the keyboard for a while and get some fresh air.;) dr. m was kind enough to send me basically what TimW linked to as I wanted to do something more constructive than surf all the time. I had the time but after a few weeks worth of reading I gave up as it was beyond what I was willing to give.

As to networking, book learning is fine upto a point, then one has to get into all the OS's and know what each needs and there's no better teacher than real life. Find whatever you like first and then go for it.

Kestrel13! will probably kill me for saying this but she was a total nOOb in all things computers(sorry Ems:))(heck, so was I when I came here) a few years ago but she had/has a drive to learn and in some three years is now a 'Malware Fighter'!(I knew you could do it hun.:highfive) That is dedication towards a purpose. Find your niche.;)

Have to agree with augie! And Emma would be the first to acknowledge what a complete noob she was a few years ago. But you have an advantage, Zack. You are young enough to learn quickly!! Us crusty ones take much longer to learn new tricks!! :-D
