I kinda have a thing for Italian cars, not yet bought a Ferrari or Lamborghini, but have had some of the special Fiat's in the Abarths, noteably a Stilo Abarth GT (2.5lt inline 5cyl) basically the homogenised road version of the rally varient, ate fuel and at UK prices for gas, I sold it a few years back for a Sport version of the Bravo which is a 4cyl 1.4lt turbo.

If I ws to pick a car I would urge after it would likely be a not so hypercar (as in ferrari, lambo, zonda etc) but a Fiat 500 Blackjack... just looks cool for a city car.

Done the BMW thing and dont like the styling these days of the cars, Z4 is terrible, the new M3 is not so bad though, the Merc Mclaren SLR is ok.

Possibly the Nissan GTR is a winner for me.

Don't really like the GTRs, and I'm in agreement about the Z4s!!! (All the Zs for that matter ...) and yeah I reckon the E46's are the best style bimmers (probably cuz thats wut I've got :-D)

I have to agree the E46 is the sexyiest BMW ever!!! superb lines and design, would make an Italian cry!

It has presence and agression all rolled into one, not a bad thing but a good thing in car terms for me anyways, a sports car needs to exude a bit od sexy and power!

But then depens on colour too? so what colour Drizzles is yours? the darker the better, yellow and NAH thats only for Italian cars, red the same, the blacks and dark blues and greens then superb.

Ah well I just knew you had taste Drizzles, the green is a great one... ok I could be sold on the M3 in Mustard Yellow, the Red not so much, pop that on an Alfa, Ferrari then it looks great.. but thats me.

IS that your actual M3 in green above, if so very nice and tidy example, I'm envious!!

I have been a great fan of Toyota for many years, i am now on my fourth.

My last one was a Lexus convertible but not really suited to European winters (also with the top up it was difficult for me to get in) and i have now changed to a RAV4.

All the bad publicity that Toyota had recently does not put me off as i believe that the quality of the product is excellent.

Hardy cars they are Bill, Toyota's, indeed the build quality and or more the issues with some components is happening to the best of makers these days, they are all squeezed to get the job done more cost effectively and reliability suffers.

Yeah a RAV4 is perfect for our Euro winters, expecially as we are having a bit of a climate shift to more colder and snowy weather over the past few years.

Reading your post about the Fiat Abarth brought back a long lost memory.

Many years ago in the 80s i had a 4.2 Jag and a freind of mine had a Fiat abarth (can't remember the model but it was small and black) and the power to weight ratio was better than the Jag, he could get away from the lights faster than me :cry

Halo I wish, I really wish it was an M3 lol ... shes only a little 318i :p because of our laws over here I can't own an M3 for another year and a half anyway ... 200kw max power till then.

The red one is the BMW M6, stick a G Power Hurricane package on that thing and it'll give your Ferraris and Lambos a run for their money (and beat most too) but I'm really dreamin about owning that car lol.

Hey the 318i's are nice cars, great engine in those and you dont have to rev the nuts out of it like the 316's to get anywhere.

Yup power is good but where these days can you use the power! if like me in the UK.. too many speed cameras around to actually use the speed and even the speed of my 1.4 T-Jet Turbo car, its got 155BHP, my previous one was a 2.5lt 5cyl monster... ate fuel and was a road version of a rally homogenisation, in an Abarth.

Maybe the quiet boutback of the AUS is ok.

My favourite car manufacturer of all time is probably Nissan for the skyline and GTR,mainly because I'm a geek and it has practically every peice of electronic wizardry you could wish for 5 years before every other manufacturer and also because of the huge tuning performance, the GTR dash menu is modelled on the Gran turismo menu system so for that alone they win :-D

On the dream car note I currently love porsche for the Carrera GT,I fell in love with it as soon as it came out but I still love it and would buy if I won the lottery before any other supercar which is strange because its not the fastest car in the world in any respect and that'sd what I usually go for? Maybe I'm getting old...
