    Greetings, sangamam.

We need some more info from you: what's the make and model # of your machine?

Does the machine only crash when you are playing the game? And what type of crash (blue screen, freezing, or restart)?

If it just restarts with no other indication, please check the following:

Control Panel > System > Advanced > Startup and recovery > Settings. Make sure 'Write an event to the system log' is checked, 'Automatically restart' is not checked, and 'Write debugging information' lists Small memory dump.

The next time the machine crashes, you should get a 'blue screen' with information about the crash.

The chipset drivers for the DG41CN are located here, and the graphics accelerator is located here. I recommend loading the chipset software first, then the graphics package.

ok but why is this problem occuring?both in xp and vista.the main concern is vista.as its giving BSOD .i have attached reports of perfmon, autoruns and BSOD_Windows7_Vista_v2.60 and also some screenshots.

I have no idea why that specific program is causing the crashes - obviously, there is some conflict going on between NFS and your machine setup.

You might try browsing any NFS forums to see if others have experienced the same symptoms. The same applies to any Intel forums.

Do try the chipset/video reinstall - quite often, the two work together.

Also, your report shows a total of 2gb of RAM - you're likely running into resource shortages, especially while running both Vista (a known memory hog) and a high-end video game.

It is possible that your problem originates from Flash Player. What FP version do you have? Go to http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ - can you see the Flash animation? What version is displayed under it?

Right-click on the Flash object and select Settings; uncheck 'Enable Hardware Acceleration'.

    Does that fix your problem(s)?

P.S. what browser(s) are you using?

Flash player version . 10,1,102,64 installed and whats the use of flash player in need for speed.there is no option as the change settings button is grayed out.giving the message "Your current display driver doesnot allow to changes to be made to hardware acceleration".I think if i disable it the game wont run as i tried the same thing in xp and the game wouldnt start.

Right-click anywhere on your game, and if you see 'About Adobe Flash Player 10', then the game runs on Flash Player.

You do not disable Hardware Acceleration in the Device Manager, but in Flash Player Settings, as I have posted in my earlier reply. Disabling Hardware Acceleration will not have any influence on your game, but will probably correct the issues that you are seeing.

I right clicked when the game was on but there was no option moreover mouse clicks are disabled while playing ,this means that its not based on flash player

Ok, sorry for that - I just have seen similar effects with Flash Player, but obviously we can dismiss that in your case.
