Hide My IP .com?

    Hey all...

    Does this program - http://www.hide-my-ip.com/ - pretty much do the same thing as OpenDNS - http://www.opendns.com/ -, and, hopefully, as my COMODO Free Firewall application does, by "hiding" a user on the web (from others on the web), please?

    Hi Glenn

    Sort of-ish, but openDNS is a good DNS service to use (free option) as your calls to a web address run through their service over the one your ISP has, at times its quicker in calling a url (web address), I have my DNS set to OpenDNS.

    If wanting to use one of these services go OpenDNS as its easy to setup.

    Hi David, and thanks.

    I have used OpenDNS, but switched recently when I switched firewalls. Comodo was offering the same thing ("same", to the best of my knowledge/understanding), and for whatever reason(s) decided to go with theirs.

    I suppose I was asking mostly to increase my knowledge/understanding of programs in general.
