Lilydale might be beautiful, but I bet it was stinking hot yesterday, like most places in Victoria. Melbourne temperatures were around the 40°C mark that's 104°F for the non-converted.:-D

8:00 a.m. on the west coast in the land down-under. New Year's Day and I STILL couldn't sleep last night. No drinking for this guy, as I don't really have anything to celebrate, t.b.h.

Going on 1 pm, New Year's day here now - and just up. :-o

I'm happy and healthy... oh, well... two out of three aint bad.

Still five hours and a few minutes left of 2010 here. The chicken breasts are baking in the oven, with herbs, garlic, and olive oil making the kitchen smell great. The potatoes are mashed, the chardonnay breathing quietly on the counter, and overall the year is off to a very good finish.

Have a great time, everyone on MGs, stay safe if you go out to celebrate, and have a great upcoming 2011! :wave

 

Now THAT'S the way to finish off a year. I wonder how long it takes to get to Middle Earth?:yum
