Trying to delete "undeletable" files

I have 4 x *.DLL's in my HP sub-Folder that I cannot delete. :cry

I have tried logging in as "Adminstrator', removing "read only" Attribute that HP secretly sets (and does not show up in "Attributes" in Windows Explorer).

Installed "killbox.exe" that didn't work for me.

Desperate to get rid of HP Folder ans sub-folders and Files therein, so I can re-install HP Win 7 driver/setup, to see if I can get my printer going again.

Thanks in advance, for any suggestions whether they work or not. :-D
I've googled for various ideas, but still have those bl**dy *.Dll's to get rid of.

NB: Not present in Revo Installer, or "Add/Remove" programs.

Hello,
I try to delete in safe mode if Unlocker does not work. If that fails, I boot to Puppy Linux or UBCD4 Windows and delete.

 

Can also try HiJack This 'delete a file on reboot' feature. It's worked for me before, and also has option for deleting an NT type 023 service. Good luck.

I thought I has disabled/stopped all services, but I had missed one. :-o :cry :-D

They are now gone. :major

Now all I have to do is re-install my HP PSC 1410 All-in-One/Win 7 combo, and hope it works.

MBAM free contains FILE ASSASSIN unde the TOOLS tab .
