    He's still around. Been real busy. Since my friggin' motherboard went up to Silicon Heaven, I had no way of affording a new internet access point (that's a PC to you, hrlow).....til now. Only a Wii, but at least I'm back on. I ain't forgotten this place. Jesus, how could I? Will have a squint about and report back.
    Yes, I'm still a gobshite.

    Yeah, well.....
    doodoo happens.
    Had to get a cheap alternative to a PC as we had to clear our priority bills that stacked up with me being on short time at work. There was a spell when I had the broadband disconnected, and the phone, and the satellite TV. Had to use the library and beg net time from friends to do the vital stuff, like banking and shit. Got a Wii for me. The boy's got one, but he uses it lots over winter.
    I'm not too proud to say that money worries were all we had to keep us company for about a year. Still not out the woods yet, but getting lots and lots of hours at work now and tensions are easing. Hoorah for the good old British benefits system. I found I was entitled to jack when I was struggling, but foreign workers that have been here for two years got help with rent and poll tax.....how's that work, then? Pay a shitload of tax for thirty years and get no return when in need.....Sink hole backwater I live in. Rant just starting. I'm in a poxy mood now. It's been a long, cold, lonely winter but the blues have put their coats on and headed out to the middle east to see a few tyrants. Good riddance.
    @ Phantom. Christ on a bike, will it never end for Oz and the Kiwis? We think we have troubles, but they are little niggles compared to the trials you lot are going through. Hope you are well and managing to keep out of harms way.

    Yeah, been a real treat over here with the weather rolleyes. We are getting off relatively lightly in the west. Mainly fires, and stinking heat and humidity. I'm melting every time I have to step away from the air-conditioning.
    Like you've heard, the eastern states got it bad with flooding, especially Queensland. Seems to be a real bad year for Tropical Cyclones.
    Christchurch, N.Z. got hit with 6.3 Richter Scale earthquake and a lot of it got turned to rubble. Last I heard about 65 dead and 300 unaccounted for. Definitely not good.:(
    I hear ya about poxy Social Benefit system. Doesn't favour anyone actually born in their own country, as weird as that sounds.
    I guess life's good for some, but it's getting harder to find now, I admit.
