Is it possible to use only the supplied router to create a wireless home network or do I have to buy another router to go along with it?
Know this may sound stupid to some and I must admit I'm completely in the dark re: wireless, modems, routers, etc. but if I never ask I'll never know.
The supplied isp modem router is a Model EQ-660R ADSL Router issued by Embarq (now Century Link.)

    Hi and welcome to MG's,
to create a wireless enviroment with that router you will need to have a wireless router to connect to the ethernet port and disable dhcp in the wireless router, would be a lot easier if you bought a wireless modem router that you can just input your isp's settings.
