    XP Pro, SP3, etc.

At one time I had a video viewer with which I could freeze and save a frame. I think it was an old version of Windows Media Player. I took several stills from CD's.

Now I can find no such feature, at least in WMP. Did they remove it or just hide it in Hot/New place?

    Greetings, JimLL.

From what I understand, the capture frame function has been removed from later WMP builds - to verify this, what WMP version are you using?

Try the XP MovieMaker - I think it has a 'take picture' function.

And, of course, you can always stop the video and use Print Screen.

I have found Windows Movie Maker a useful and easy tool. However, I don't like the fact that no other video player can play WMM files. :(

    Version is 11.0.5721.5280

I'll have a look at the MM. Thanks
