I'm the guy everybody wants to be when they grow up.

 

I'm down nearly 5 pounds from starting my new workout routine. My new eating habits actually work (I'm not craving candy! Wohoo!), and I can do twice as many push-ups and crunches now as I could a week ago.

So obviously this makes me very awesome. :major

 

That's awesome, I'm trying to lose weight...so it's good to know that SOMEONE is doing well with their goals.

I can't think of a cool reason why I'm awesome....so I'm clearly too awesome to have a reason lol.

Yes, miss, it does indeed! I've lost about 10 since I started my "Bring Back the 90's Me" campaign . . . it isn't easy.

 

As a clinically depressed person I'd argue that this thread is actually really helpful and healthy. I also assure you that not everyone is good at finding something that makes them awesome or to give themselves a pat on the back.
(Just thought it was worth mentioning)

That is awesome! Two words for you, Jillian Michaels. 20 minutes to kick my butt but I got her back after a week too. Amazing how much you can do in a week. If you have netflix streaming service I have a nice british lady for you. Funkiest, most unboring push ups I've ever done.

 

I tried, I just can't do it, not feeling the awesomeness today. Besides, posting to the thread is hazardous to your title! Thanks for the laughs.

Tony, I wish I weighed only 190 lbs... Joking about excess weight is a bit like joking about depression or chronic illnesses. The ones who have to live with it tend to have a hard time seeing what's so funny about it.

(Just kidding. I'm not really angry or offended, I promise. Congratulations on 50 years with your love! )

The Guy and I actually splurged and paid for sessions with one of the trainers at the gym. You get discounts if there's two of you working out together, so we have three times a week for two months now. We are about to finish week two. I hurt everywhere! :cry

But it's working. I can tell I'm stronger and more fit already, I sleep better, and my back hurt less. And when I've lost a bit more weight I can do cardio by chasing after hecklers and stupid tech support customers with a katana! :-D

Also, I am awesome. :strong
