IE9 Download

    I have IE7 and vista installed on my computer, I saw that another verzion of IE was downloadable. However, when I try to download I would get a msg that I needed to have a service pack installed.

    It also seems to me that if WINXP was connected to IE7 then it would not load I am not sure in the IE7 on my computer had WINxP,I would appreciate any information on this.

    You need to install Vista SP1. Do it through windows update.

    For Vista you need at least SP2 (details HERE) to check right click Computer in the start menu and click Properties and the page should tell you at the top what SP you have.

    Sadly IE9 is not Windows XP compatible so ignore that it wouldnt install on that, but if you can open IE on your WinXP pc then click Help > About and it will tell you the version used, you can install IE8 on XP, But more info on your Windows XP issue would be helpful?
