I have an HP LaserJet 3200 and I'm having trouble getting the printer to work over the network.

My computer has Windows 7 64bit and my Laptop have Windows 7 32bit. The laptop sees the printer just fine and when I click on it it looks for drivers, says it can't find them. Then when I try to look manually it needs a .inf file, so I unzip the universal print driver from HP for my version of windows. Then it says none of the drivers are suitable. I even tried adding them at additional drivers on my PC but it says that they aren't suitable as well.

Can anyone help me get this working?

On the laptop have it use windows update to look for a driver. I had to do that for my HP 6P cause the 6p driver isn't in the drivers that come with win 7

There isn't an option for windows update to find the driver, it just automatically starts looking and the only option I have to browse for the .inf file.

Ok just found this- on the desktop 64-bit pc go to the sharing tab for the 3100 (right click on the 3100, Properties, Sharing). Click on the tab "Additional Drivers". This will allow you to install the 32-bit driver. You will probably have to download it from HP first, run the install, NOTE PATH WHERE THE DRIVER IS EXTRACTED TO, but then cancel the install. Then add the additional driver as above then your laptop should be able to load the driver.

Make sure HP has a 64-bit version of the driver available.

That wasn't the OP's problem. It's installed on his 64-bit Win 7 computer but he also wanted to share it out to his laptop which is 32-bit Win 7.

Sorry about that, HP does have the drivers. Thank you for the restatement.
