Does anyone know of a highly compatible address book program? One that can import/export all sorts of contact formats. One that I can use with either thunderbird or outlook.

Anyone? Am I going to have to go back to using ye ol' black book? Because that's far superior to thunderbirds and outlooks address book.

Since I only use Thunderbird I worry about retreiveing only from this one, I do not know of any applycation that could work with any other mail programs, both of them have slightly different way of retrieving them. Maybe if you google it???

Frankly, this just makes no sense to me. I don't see how you can possibly think "ye ol' black book" is better than Outlooks address book. Perhaps we need to clarify what you mean by Outlooks address book. What version of Outlook are you using? What version of Windows? As I recall, with Outlook 2003, for example, you can use either Windows Address Book or Outlook Contacts as the primary source of email addresses when composing a new message and filling the To: box. Have you tried using Outlook's Contacts feature?
