rootkit removal

    Hi,
    Did a Trend Micro Housecall online scan and found 3 rootkits on my computer. About one I am not sure of (It may be a partitioned folder from my other system appearing as hidden files). But the other two were for sure rootkits with funny squiggly letters. Thanks for any help.

    Delete this file:

    C:\windows\system32\temp.txt

    Then you need to attach the log showing this.

    Also attach the two logs from Malware Bytes and the log from running SUPERantispyware.

    Sorry, I don't have those logs. Got lost or didn;t save them. I rescanned with the Housecall software. Nothing was found this time. Idk, thanks.

    Ok. The only unkown hidden file that came up was,

    C:\Users\Me\AppData\Local\temp\HCBackup\iCRCReserve.tmp

    But, I think that was from a file from Houcall. Other than that I think it's over. Or not! *dum dum dummmm* rolleyes
