If OBL would have used pigeons to deliver those flash drives he would have never been caught. Thanks to a telephone call he finally got caught.

 

They were definitely carried by men, they even search a few of the couriers before the raid only to find nothing.They must have been stashing the drives somewhere that could be detected with a pat down :confused

This was revealed due to an Al-quaeda operative switching sides after being asked to smuggle in Bin Laden's music collection on an Icy box.

 

As far as I've heard, a courier would only get to the nearest town where there was another one ready to take it to the next etc. More difficult to catch someone carrying a flash drive or whatever in that way. Or perhaps women who can hide things more easily? :-D

When a courier would make a telephone call he would use it quite a distance away from OBL's compound.
