Are Cell Phones Killing the Bees?

Not using cell phones ain't gonna happen although personally I just use it in emergencies and have that thing turned off. Then there are no bee hives around here, just beehives of people around us.

If this is true they'll adapt,numbers may drop but eventually the bee's that aren't affected by signals will breed and evolve into RF resistant bee's.

Adaptation's not the problem, fertilisation of crops is though. The further the bee population falls, the fewer flowering crops get fertilised naturally, the more humans will need to fertilise by hand, the higher the prices will get.

Basically, the human population's way out of scale with what the natural resources can cope with.

There was a piece published about one man's view on African birds of prey a few days ago, he goes into some detail on the damage we humans are causing in Africa, the wildlife stands no chance - and there'll be a big knock-on effect way down the line. It's probably the most depressing thing I've read in a long time; if you have 30 minutes or so to spare, please read it.
