They wizz by these days Tim, was only talking about this last night with a friend, nearly half way through this year already...... what has happened has someone speeded up the universal clock!

 

They seem to whiz by the closer you get to the twilight years.

Ah, if only that were true!!!

 

have to say in honesty as soon as I hit 40, time and space is zapping by at a rapid rate, is someone saying I need to get in my grave sooner rather than latter!?

We have a three day weekend in the UK this weekend and I bet I will be in work on Tuesday saying "where the hell did that weekend go"

 

They say that things get better as you age, but I find that things aren't getting better, they are just no longer functioning as they once did. :-D:-D

 

Think the only thing at gets better (or likely worse) is the grey of hair and bits that start failing! maybe you are wiser but for me I think that's just a myth, I may know more but what do I know and is it right or of interest, likely not.

I do know one thing with age comes being a grumpy bugger, "Victor Meldrew" for those that know who he is springs to mind, and a scene from the West Wing in which Toby says to a bunch of school kids, "don't bug me or I will get rid of you all" or words to that effect and that's how I feel of late, bug me and I will delete you or if you are a Laker Girl then your OK!

Age is like a fine old wine it gets bitter, sour and makes your face cringe!

Well Laura I have to fess up and that line was from the aforementioned West Wing and Toby Ziegler's chat with some school kids in IIRC season 3 ep 1 (would have to look again as I have the complete collection on DVD, but I'm right I think) in which he said he would spare from death the Knicks, Laker Girls, a steak house or bar etc

Ok full if paraphrased text from the DVD is below in the question of extremists but aimed at everyone (so dont go down the tact of turning this thread into political, as WW is light hearted TV)
