I have ran the Read and Run me First Guide, I have logs, but the computer still running slow, and windows keeps telling me I have Ramnit. I'm running on windows, 32-bit and most of my programs are disabled and I have to re-install them to be able to use them. Thank you.

You did not attach the log from running SUPERantispyware or the C:\MGlogs.zip from running C:\MGTools.exe.

Also you need to run this scan three times, back to back, and attach the results.

    Using ESET's Online Scanner

I ran ESET, I got the MG tools, the superantispyware and i got help from some called microsoft certified technician who told me to run Hitman pro and that I believe pretty much removed it. Even though I still believe to be infected, but my pc is pretty much back to normal. Some programs still seem inactive. Here are some of the other logs.

You posted logs from Safe Boot Mode. We need to scans and logs to be obtained from normal boot mode unless that is impossible.

In most cases the only safe and reliable way to properly remove Ramnit is to reinstall due to the damage it causes and also due to the security issues it opens. So let me first post a canned speech/warning about Ramnit.

Thank you. I am able to run the scans from normal boot, now. After I ran Hitman Pro I thought I was safe. I recently updated windows. But windows Security essentials told me again right now that Ramnit is still alive. So despite the fact that my computer is running smoothly and considering the canned speech I am going to restart everything. I do have one final question. I have linux dually installed with windows. I was going to backup my photos, music, etc into linux and then just move it back into windows once I re-intall. I was wondering if that could be possible or would all my files in windows currently now are infected? Thank you.

If you have read and understand my warning, but still want to try to fix this, then continue with the below instructions.

Put ComboFix.exe directly on your Desktop now. Not in the WAR folder you made. Also make sure that you shutdown Microsoft Security Essentials this time before doing the below.
Do you actually use BigFix which came with your PC. I have never known anyone that used it and it can be a massive resource hog.

Run C:\MGtools\analyse.exe by double clicking on it (Note: if using Vista or Win 7, don't double click, use right click and select Run As Administrator). This is really HijackThis (select Do a system scan only) and select the following lines but DO NOT CLICK FIX until you exit all browser sessions including the one you are reading in right now:

    F2 - REG:system.ini: UserInit=c:\windows\system32\userinit.exe
    O3 - Toolbar: Conduit Engine - {30F9B915-B755-4826-820B-08FBA6BD249D} - C:\Program Files\ConduitEngine\ConduitEngine.dll
O23 - Service: FileZilla Server FTP server (FileZilla Server) - Unknown owner - C:\Documents\xampp\filezillaftp\filezillaserver.exe (file missing)
    O23 - Service: Viewpoint Manager Service - Viewpoint Corporation - C:\Program Files\Viewpoint\Common\ViewpointService.exe

    After clicking Fix, exit HJT.

    Now uninstall Conduit Engine

Now we need to use ComboFix to remove a bunch of malware files.
    • Make sure that combofix.exe that you downloaded while doing the READ & RUN ME is on your Desktop but Do not run it!
      • If it is not on your Desktop, the below will not work.
    • Also make sure you have shut down all protection software (antivirus, antispyware...etc) or they may get in the way of allowing ComboFix to run properly.
    • If ComboFix tells you it has expired or need to be updated to a new version, make sure you allow it to update.
    • Open Notepad and copy/paste the text in the below quote box into it:
    • Save the above as CFscript.txt and make sure you save it to the same location (should be on your Desktop) as ComboFix.exe
    • At this point, you MUST EXIT ALL BROWSERS NOW before continuing!
    • You should have both the ComboFix.exe and CFScript.txt icons on your Desktop.
    • Now use your mouse to drag CFscript.txt on top of ComboFix.exe
    • Follow the prompts.
    • When it finishes, a log will be produced named c:\combofix.txt
    • I will ask for this log below
    Note:

Do not mouseclick combofix's window while it is running. That may cause it to stall.

If after running Combofix you discover none of your programs will open up because you recieve the following error: Illegal operation attempted on a registry key that has been marked for deletion then you will need to reboot your computer which will normally fix this problem.

After reboot, now install the current version of Sun Java from: Sun Java Runtime Environment

Now run the C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat file by double clicking on it (Note: if using Vista or Win7, don't double click, use right click and select Run As Administrator).

    Then attach the below logs:
    • C:\ComboFix.txt
    • C:\MGlogs.zip
Make sure you tell me how things are working now!

MG tools analyse was not able to find the following line.

    F2 - REG:system.ini: UserInit=c:\windows\system32\userinit.exe

The others it did find. I got both logs. I restarted the computer a couple of times now and for some reason my all my office programs are not working. My fruity loops is not working. (audio mixer program) So far only those programs. The memory and CPU usage do seem to be pretty much back to normal. Microsoft security essentials hasn't told me of any infection. Thank you, but am I clear yet?

I just ran hitman pro and it told me I had these two things, which was able to quarantine.

    NIRCMD.EXE---riskware
    MBR.EXE...trojan

Just thought maybe it could help. Thank you.

See the early instructions in the READ & RUN ME. You are not supposed to be doing anything we don't ask you to do. Neither of those files are malware. They are used by ComboFix and are well known legit programs.

    You're welcome.

    Your logs are clean now.
The infection you had may have broken them. You will likely have to reinstall them to fix the problems.

If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep SUPERAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware. Unless you purchase them, they provide no protection. They do not use any significant amount of resources ( except a little disk space ) until you run a scan.
    2. If we had you use ComboFix, uninstall ComboFix (This uninstall will only work as written if you installed ComboFix on your Desktop like we requested.)
      • Click START then RUN and enter the below into the run box and then click OK. Note the quotes are required
      • "%userprofile%\Desktop\combofix" /uninstall
        • Notes: The space between the combofix" and the /uninstall, it must be there.
        • This will uninstall ComboFix and also reset hidden files and folders settings back to Windows defaults.
    3. Go back to step 6 oof the READ ME and renable your Disk Emulation software with Defogger if you had disabled it.
    4. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    5. If we had you download any registry patches like fixme.reg or fixWLK.reg (or any others), you can delete these files now.
    6. If running Vista, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    7. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis.
    8. Goto the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders
related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    9. If you are running Win 7, Vista, Windows XP or Windows ME, do the below:
      • Refer to the cleaning procedures pointed to by step 7 of the READ ME
for your Window version and see the instructions to Disable System Restore which will flush your Restore Points.
      • Then reboot and Enable System Restore to create a new clean Restore Point.
    10. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:
