If you're a Victorian or a Queenslander it stands for New South (expletive deleted) Wales.

 

When I was first looking at Windows XP and saw that it used something called NTFS instead of FAT,
I thought it must stand for something really high tech.

What a let down, and kind of funny, when I learned that it's only New Technology File System. :-D

 

I've used Acronymfinder.com for years. Great site. I work with several branches of the U.S. military and each has its own set of acronyms.

I was going to post it in Interesting links but as the Lounge Forum gets around 33 readers and Interesting Links gets around 38 readers and Software gets 715 readers as of just now(I checked), I figured a lot more people might be interested, and helped.

No I haven't started a blog. I expressed at the time I was asked to consider writing a blog, that I didn't have the experience, or expertise, to do so.

I do not wish to bring any downside to MG because of my lack of faith in my own "perceived" ability.

I have joined an on-line Computer "geek" site in my home town to see if I can get a very small blog going. From what I have read there is a lot of Flaming on blogsites and I don't want to bring this on myself, or maybe MG also.

I am sure there are a lot of willing MG members out there with much more expertise in starting a blog, obliquely plugging our MG site, than myself.
