Right. What are you doing this weekend?

Tonight - Shabbat Services, making signs for garage sale tomorrow, and then putting them out tonight.

Saturday - Garage Sale from 6-1pm. 1pm - 5pm getting rid of crap that didn't sell.

Sunday - Morning service. Rest of the day to mess around.

Hi! Going to the farm and check the progress on the wind turbines. They are supposed to start putting them up very soon. I know some members here are tried of hearing about my wife's wind farm, but it's very exciting for our community and our family. We have been blessed and I'm very thankful.:):)

You can see them in above link.
The large hole will be a lake some day. They needed dirt and I needed a lake:-D
This is on my wife's farm. 320 acres. Mostly native Buffalo grass. The lake will be at the bottom of a cannon. It's pretty big and will take a long time to fill it up. The project is in Dewey County Canton Oklahoma.
    Here's link about it!

It's good for Oklahoma and it's good for the USA

Banned from where? as rolleyes icon was added? is it illegal to fire of fireworks in Florida? just curious no more no less.

  14. oneeyejack

    oneeyejack Guest

In Oklahoma it is illegal to fire fireworks in side the city limits, but you can fire them outside the city limits. I don't know about Florida. Ask Tim??? No comment on rolleyes;);)

Caliban I don't need no steenkin' title!

Been a tough week, so I hope I'll get some time this weekend to just...do...nothing...

Tim is in Florida and well not hidden from all on the forum so issues on fireworks and Florida should be known, but you are in Woodward, Oklahoma and that maybe the legalities are different, but not for all maybe.

    again why

Do you know that states law? is it different, why did you post that remark? I dunno is why I'm asking, you stated " Don't get banned" I didn't, so why would you get banned in Florida? was it a wild guess and a joke.. that I can appreciate, but if meaning to be smart then NO get facts correct and I'm not USA but I read a lot of Gov Docs from USA as I deal with US depts.

  20. oneeyejack

    oneeyejack Guest

No Sir! Every turbine will have a transformer like that. I wife sold OGE 6 acres for 18,000$. They will build the Sub station on her land. That will be where the high transmission line will start and connect to the one going to Oklahoma City. That's the way I understand it. All lines from all 98 turbines will connect to the sub station on my wife's land. She will have 3 turbines on her land. They will pay 30,000$ a year and go up every 5 years. I think I better answer your questions on the thread I started Oklahoma Wind Farm
I will post more pictures on that thread when I get them. Thanks for your interest my friend!!;);)

Yeah, but the odds of him banning MA, especially considering MA is one of the site owners, and considering he wasn't the one who started the thread, are pretty much nil.

Not really. Diane had her first chemo treatment yesterday and is having serious chills and a low grade fever. We are waiting on a call back from the doctor to see if she needs to go to hospital and get IV antibiotics. :(

Fortunately, her doctor is making rounds, so we are waiting on a call back from him as to what we should do. Unfortunately, the pharmacy closes in two hours. :(

Hi! I don't mean to jump in between these posts! I just want to repeat what augiedoggie said. Hang in there. I went threw 6 months of chemo. It's not a pleasant thing. I had a low grade fever for six months. You have chills and feel like crap. It will be a tough time for both of you. Just make sure you tell her you love her every day. That's about all you can do. My wife got me through the 6 months. She was my rock! I going on 7 years now and I'm not showing any signs of cancer. I wish you the best my friend:(:)

Just hold on to the thought Tim that Diane will get over this.
My wife Laurette was diagnosed with breast Cancer 15 years ago and has been plagued with skin cancer since but she is still going strong, she will probably outlive me.

Good Karma coming your way for a positive result from the Doc.

Positive thoughts coming your way from me too, Tim.

Sorry to hear Diane isn't feeling well. From all you've said about her, I think her strength will get her through this and the strength I've seen from you will help her tremendously.

So, in keeping with the subject of the thread., I will be keeping an eye on Diane this weekend. Doctor wants us to wait and see what else develops and call back tomorrow if symptoms get worse. So much for our weekend. :(

Poor girl to have to endure that and not have a resolution to hand, just wait for worse things if they happen. Does she at least have some sleep meds? Nights are the worst to bear of course.:(

Yes, she has sleep med's. Off to try making a coffee ice cream milk shake.

The hell with saying on topic. She will start feeling better just before the next treatment, and them go through the same crappy felling again and again. If she has problems; they will put her on the big dog anti botic. If she ever says it feels like ants are biting her, tell some one immediately. This is the sign of allergic reaction and can be very dangerous. I had that reaction. I had to spend time in hospital a couple of times, because the treatment was to strong. Don't be afraid to report every little thing. The next few months will be a very rough time in your lives, but you will get through it. You have many friends here on the forum to help you through this. Share your thoughts and feelings with your friends here. That's what friends are for!!;);)

Hi!! I vote we keep this thread open for Tim to tell us about his week ends, because there will be many that will not be pleasant. Share your thoughts with your friends. It will be a big help getting you through this.
Cancer survivors are a different breed. We cheated the cancer SOB, and we appreciate being alive with our friends. I watched my father die a terrible death, because they didn't have all these things they have now. You will make it through all this, and your friends are here to make sure you do.:):)

We don't need to dedicate this thread to me and the wife. Her treatments are every three weeks, so she will probably be crappy for a week, then start to recover before her next treatment. Four treatments in all. So it will span a few months. But thanks for the thoughts.

Now back to your normally scheduled program. ;)

Your welcome!! My treatments were more often and they lasted two days in a row. I had to go in 4 times a month and I seldom felt good. I'm glad to hear only 4 treatments in all. Some times my red blood count would be to low and I would have to wait till they got it back up with shots in my fat belly before I could take another treatment. I didn't mean to hi jack this thread and make it about me. I just wanted to offer my support. I probably went over board. I'm kind a know for that!! I wish you the best!!

What, I thought you were going to by my test target. :cry Mods worked flawlessly, nice groups. I do simple gun mods, I ain't that stupid! ;) Just shortened the recoil guide rod, and beveled it, and sanded it nice and purdy.

The sad news is the .45 has been pulled out of HD duty until I can get a gunsmith to do a bit 'o work. Seems the barrel link pin has drifted slightly, and will need to be staked. (nope, was not part of my 'mod') I don't stake pins, don't have the tools to do that.
