    Us longtime Windows users remember well, Microsoft using the Rolling Stones song "Start Me Up" as the soundtrack for the advertising campaign that launched Windows 95. :major

    I remember refusing to use Windows 3.1 because Dos worked just fine. Ahh the screaming fast 386.;)

    I go back to DOS v3.1 and DOS 3.11 (WFW), then 4.0, 4.01, 5.0 and 6.0 :-D

    Ya, Win 3.1 sucked real bad and DOS was just fine for my needs, plus it took up valuable real estate on my 20MB HDD.

    DOS v4 sucked as well.
    MS soon released v4.01 :-D
    I too well remember my first hard drive.
    A 20 megabyte (NOT GIGABYTE--to you younguns :-D ) Seagate. :(
