My intent was not to offend, but to gain some type of perspective as your experience and intellectual abilities. A "living wage" as you mention is different for everyone, but I've seen the exact same things happen in companies that were non-union.... as long as the company, and those who run it, for the most part, have been on the employee side of the fence.

I applaud your efforts and success in doing what you have for those who work where you do, and the fact that being in a union is not mandatory. The idea of "workers rights" is a moot point, as we all have no rights other than given to us by our Creator.... not by an employer of by a union. We all have the right to succeed as well as fail, but each should be a result of our own abilities, or the lack thereof, and each possibility should remain between the employer and employee.

I guess my main issue is that public employee unions, and public employees themselves, by their very nature, do not generate wealth, but instead live on the backs of the hard work of others, and it is they who should have a say in the matter.

I hear most of the over spending at NASA is from star17's division:confused

Ever since the mustang ranch started delivering large trucks of M8 1.5 Titanium bolts in the middle of the night:confused

Well said Zappa. Stuff like that is, as it is called on another forum, 'learned discussion'. Were people with different views and opinions can discuss.

Free Speech is what I yell at the monitor when I read a post I don't agree with. :-D
