.jar files turned into winrar icon?

dont laugh i play a game called minecraft and i installed a mod (which i have removed) but when installing it i had to use winrar, now all of a sudden every .jar file i have such as rsbuddy which is a game ( an executable file thing) have changed into icons that look like a little white box with a winrar sign in it when i open it it should load the game but it just opens more files in winrar and there is no executable file.. well there is but its changed if u get me please help

Open WinRar. Under Options select Settings. In the Integration tab uncheck JAR.

Hey huzuke,

1. Navigate to the C:\Program Files folder.
2. Open The Java folder.
3. If you see a folder named jre6 complete the next steps below.
4. Press and hold the Windows key on the keyboard and then press the letter R.
5. Within the Run window, type in regedit and click ok.
6. Navigate to the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\jarfile subkey.
7. Right click on the jarfile subkey and select Export. name and save the file as a backup of the current key state.
8. Download the attached jar.txt file onto the desktop.
9. Right click on the jar.txt file and rename the file to jar.reg
10. Double click the jar.reg file to add the entries into the registry.
