I'd do it if it were free. Cost less to skydive!! Which would be a cool thing to do from the tower!! :-D

Well then daredevil, come on over and I'll pay for it. ;) Then gotta to get a telescope as well since binoculars wouldn't do. :-D

I sold my parachute years ago. But it would be a hoot to jump with a helmet cam!! ;)

You're saying that you'd jump without a parachute? If that's the case I'll stand on the ground to catch you but I'd let you bounce once on the ground first. :duck :-D

Like Tim said, I would do it if it was free, no sense in paying $175 when I got all kind of tall things to play on for free well unless you get caught then there is the fines to deal with. Heights don't bother me at all but I'm so claustrophobic I can't ride in the back seat of a two door car.

Don't think I'd like to do that if some one paid me. :-D
Jumped of the edge of a mountain once. Was literally "a leap of faith.'' :p
    Was tandem wind gliding.
Here's a pic of the location. Don't miss the highly sophisticated instrument, which would indicate appropriate head wind. :-D

    Cheers..

I read about that a couple of months ago when the head guy of CN Tower did it with some test people.
I'll be doing it at some point in the future, when it's cheaper and the novelty has worn off so the line isn't 4 hours long like it is just to go up the freakin' thing :-D

It is pretty cool up there and although I get dizzy and sort of scared at heights , I also get quite a buzz from the fear.

I'll do it, I'll be cacking it, but I'll still do it :-D

Edit: I just watched the video, yeah I wanna do that! , a little confused though, why would you wear a hard hat?... not really going to do a whole lot for you lol (Yes I know it's in case you bang your head or some such, but still pointless)

Good for you Ned!! Just carry an extra pair of underwear with you in case of any mishaps. :-D ;)

From what they said on TV it takes 2 hrs = 1½ hrs for safety measures, including a breathalyzer test and whatnot - I forgot. About 20 min walk around the tower. Don't know if the $175 includes taking the elevator? You definitely don't want to walk the stairs all the way up although many do on certain days for charity.

I am not afraid of heights but i don't think i could do that and at $175 a go it is off my list of things to do.

There's a thought, could you imagine if someone puked up there.... not nice, not nice at all!

Aw they want way too much for that... for what, the harness? :p But it looks fun!

i think the grand canyon skywalk would be more nauseating, because this one you're tethered down and you have a semblance of stability, but that thing is just an open glass floor over a thousand foot drop. I'd get vertigo. Not scared, just outright vertigo.

WOW!! 1768 feet and climbing up. So you're one of the brave eh? :-D There is one major difference though with the CN Tower vid and yours. The workers for your tower must be doing that for a living while the visitors doing the walk at the CN Tower most likely are not.

The CN Tower (1815.4 ft) was built as a communication and observation tower in the 70's. It serves TV and radio, has a restaurant, theater etc. It lights up at nite in pretty colors except for the time when bird migrate. :cool Some must have installed them lights all the way up to the top. For anyone interested here's a link about it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CN_Tower
