Gotta love this

    I have a desktop computer that has been acting really slow lately, and I know that fssm32.exe is for F-Secure and is taking up most of my memory. But I don't believe that could be the problem as I've had this program for a while and it has not been an issue. So I ask of someone to please examine my attached HJT log and let me know what I should fix.

    There is nothing wrong in your HJT log.

    Please explain what operations are slow! For example answer the below:

    * Is boot up slow?
    * Is shutdown slow?
    * Is browsing/surfing slow?
    * Is downloading slow?
    * Is running any application?
    * Is it also slow in safe boot mode?
    * Also are any process showing in Task Manager to be using a lot of CPU time?
    * Anything else slow?

    Running applications, or when java loads it takes forever sometimes freezes (not responding) even if java is not loading sometimes ranging between 10-30 seconds.

    Well we don't know how computer tech savvy you are, so I would do the following first.

    Download and run CCleaner
    Download and Run Smart Defrag 2(both normal & boot time defrag)

    Run a host of Malware programs found on the forum. If you post in the Malware forum, then you are expected to do a clean job before going forward. I tell everyone that I have yet to get a virus/anything etc. that hasn't been fixed by the manual here.... http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=35407
