Advice please for interview for company I quit last year

I have an interview this week for a job in IT (Help Desk Technician) that I had previously quit last year after just two weeks of working. (just training) The reason I quit was it was just too far to drive……….over 65 miles each way, and I knew no one who lived in the area if my car would break down or something else happen.
They are hiring again for the same job, but for another location only 20 miles from me. I emailed the HR person, told them I was very interested and applied for the job. I was so excited to get the call they wanted me to come in for an interview. They must still be interested in me.
Now, where I need some advice. Since then, in the last year, I have only worked part time jobs or through temp agencies, and none involving IT work. I know they will ask me if I obtained my A+ cert. I haven’t because I haven’t had the money to take it. Do I tell them that? Or what other reason could I give?
I really want this job. They are a great company to work for. I have been kicking myself in the butt for the past year for quitting.
Any other advice on the interview would be greatly appreciated.

First, make sure they know the only reason you left was because of the drive and not the company. Quitting after just the two-week training period doesn't look good, and especially with unemployment how it is I'm surprised they want to interview you again. Your resume must be fabulous! ;) But assure them without going overboard about it that you will not be doing the same thing again with the closer location, and make sure they know how much you want to work for the company and are glad to have the chance to do so nearer to home.

If money is the only reason you didn't get your cert, then tell them that. Honesty is better than making up another reason, and they'll know if they hire you you'll be able to afford to get it. Just make sure you make it a priority (as high as possible given whatever other financial things you've got going on) to get done. If they live in the world, they'll understand that temp jobs don't necessarily pay enough to cover your bills and also pay for your A+, so that shouldn't be a point against you. Especially if you're interviewing against people who also haven't gotten theirs.

Believe me, if I had known then what I found out even a week after I quit, I would have really, really thought more about it. My final decision that day was made because of a family emergency and I was over 100 miles away. I filled out a voluntary resignation survey assuring them the company and people were great and I only left because of the distance.
I am grateful to have this opportunity to once more have the possibility to work for them. I will be honest during the interview. I hope I don't (as you put it "go overboard" ) on how much I want the job.

    Thanks for your advice.
