cant do anything on my home pc

im on a different pc because i downloaded avgfree off your website onto my other pc now i cant access anything or go online. it only takes me to a page to pay for activation. its got a logo same as avg but it only says, 'Security Protection' designed to protect. what do i do i cant even remove it?

I can assure you the AVG files we have on this site are 100% clean and are directly from AVG.

Also, AVG Free (the real one), as you mentioned is in-fact free and you would not be prompted to purchase AVG nor would it take you offline.

This is what we call scareware. It may look similar to AVG, but it's not actually AVG

i would like to follow those steps but the pc wont let me open anything . once im in windows the first thing to come up is security warning! malicious program detected. about every thing i try to open it opens for 2 seconds than gone. and im one a mini acer no cd-rom and no memory stick to copy anything to. and how did i get this when all i did was go to major geeks than to top freeware picks and clicked on download avgfree from the screen?

 

My best guess is that you got infected with a fake rogue tool around the same time you were seeking to install AVG.
