movies for Iphone

I want to download free movies to my iphone...i can stream them via netflix, but that costs my data plan,,,,any ideas?
Id even pay for the movies

the kindle/book readers, you download a book and thats it

you can download movies? or just stream them?
I can't stream, takes too much bandwidth and I'm on a plane/train/car and might lose signal

 

You can purchase and download movies and TV shows from the iTunes store on your PC and then transfer them to your iPod. You could also use Handbrake and DVDFab HD Decrypter to copy your movie from a DVD to play on an iPod. Both are free.

 

I downloaded both of those programs, I have no idea how to use them.
is there a how to page?

I used the DVDfab to do something to a CD and it made unplayable files

To clarify on something you might've missed, with iTunes, you can purchase movies that are downloaded onto your PC, and you can put them on your iPhone, so they do NOT stream... they play directly off your iPhone.

Handbrake is a slightly complicated program to use, especially for video conversion novices. So is DVDFab... there's simpler programs, but I can't remember what they are offhand... if I think of them, I'll post back, though.

 

I dont have itunes, I have an ipod touch, which has the app store, but I like idea of having my movies on HD, acessible to me easily, DVDs are a pain in the ***, and dont always fast FORward

I have to buy the movie again?
