I'm a fairly computer illiterate female. I'm cancelling my verizon service and the verizon yahoo account that goes with. I have set up a free yahoo account and transferred my contacts. Can I transfer my emails and folders? Can't find anything on that except "TrueSwitch". What's the best way?

The only way I know how to do that would be to forward them all to your new account.

I thought of that - yahoo will only left me forward 1 message at a time - way to time consuming! Do you know faster way?

You could create a gmail (Google's email) account and "Import" your Yahoo! mail into gmail. This would move all the mail in your old Yahoo! Mail account into the gmail in a single action.

would this work if I already have a gmail account? Or is it an option available only when you set it up?

Go into your account settings and there is a tab for import.
