I think you have a really good set up there with just one exception, the tower.
As you will be using it for gaming you will be generating a lot of heat and a good full size tower will give you better cooling possibilities also that GTX570 is a big card and many midi cases will struggle to accommodate it.
This is the case i use and it is superb, it gives me plenty of space for extra cooling.

It all looks good to me for an Intel/nVidia build. You can save some money by getting the CPU at your local Micro Center,($180) pick ups only though. You can also shave a few bucks off the PSU, your choice is a bit over the top unless you plan to add a second GPU in the future, even then... I have a couple of Corsair TX750's($100 after MIR) and love them. They power both my machines in my sig.

You will be OK with the stock HS/F unless you plan to overclock. I think that's it. Enjoy!:)

Good point Bill. Some thing else I just noticed, the motherboard is a dual channel one so lose the RAM. Get 4GB at the same price but faster, like a 1333, especially if you plan to get W7 x86 as that won't see much more than 3.3 GB ever.

    Seconded on all counts below.

Casewise I personally like the Antec cases. I have the original 900 which is solid. The new 900 looks pretty good too but is a bit more pricey than the one you currently have.

augiedoggie is right about the RAM too. No point in tripple channel as your board only support dual. your board will support up to 2133Mhz although you may have to manually overclock it to that in the BIOS (Im not sure what the asterisk next to 1600 and 2133 means other than OC)

On that basis these are a tad more expensive than your original ones but believe me, they will kick them into next week and back again!

That is too expensive for my taste, man. So you have any other suggestions, please?

No local microcenter for me, so thats not an option. I read you need at least 800-850w of power for 2 gtx 570 both OC. So I am getting the 850w just to be safe (might also be adding another HDD and a sound card).

    2. Okay than how about this Ram (its compatible with my motherboard, right?):
    Kingston HyperX Blu 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)

Your case is fine, has a 7.87" width and the card is only some 4.5" tall. I would research if that case can handle a 9.5" card. It probably does but you don't want a 'oh shit" moment eh?;):-D

    tomcruise3230 Private E-2

    It said: Dimensions(L x W x H) 18.54" x 7.87" x 18.58"

So it can handle a 9.5" card rightg and why do I have to worry about that? (evga gtx 570 Dimensions is only 9" x 4.38")

Also, is this cd/dvd burner compatible with my build:
    SAMSUNG CD/DVD Burner SATA SH-222AB - OEM

I have a friend who shall remain anonymous and had trouble installing his video card with a top notch case because the card was too long. Don't expect everything to just 'work'.

Any burner will be good for you, even Blu-Ray.

well, can you give me more info on what card it was please? It will help me decide a lot on what case to get :)

Not really, sorry. I think it was a big honking 9800, back in the day.:eek Today's cards are shorter than the older ones by at least an inch. Can't help you more than that.

Looks like you will have a nice machine with all that kit. I'm amazed at the difference in prices between US and UK - just a quick look at the memory gives equivalent to $80US over here, more than twice as much :(

You speak of two GTX 570s and that case is too expensive ????????

What you also need to remember is that inside a PC case you have a lot of cables and these also require space so just because the dimensions of the case look OK there is no guarantee that you will get it all in.
When you buy a pre built PC it has all been worked out how much space is needed, Augie and I have been custom builders for some time now and have met many pitfalls and find that it is better to have too much rather than too little.
The case i recommended may be a bit more money but it is a quality product that will give you plenty of space to work and as you suggested that you want two GTX570s a midi tower would be very crowded and that is if you can get them both in (i have my doubts) plus the heat generated would need a good air flow to stop overheating (this is the biggest killer of PCs)also if you start overclocking (i am not a fan of it but Augie can give you info on that)the temps will rise very quickly so other cooling solutions may be needed therefore extra space is required.
