New Fall Shows this season are looking promising

I know it's not new but I was eagerly waiting for The Office to return and and the first episode of the 8th season was actually pretty hilarious to me. I wasn't sure what to expect with Michael Scott (Steve Carell) being gone but I cracked up a few times and thought, "well maybe they CAN pull this off without him" but then I saw the second ep and it was *the* most horrible, idiotic episode of all 8 seasons.

I am not fond of this new guy (forget his name), I do not think he is funny at all, he is way creepy. I am glad he is only here for a few episodes but I wonder who they are going to pick next. I honestly don't think The Office can survive without Michael Scott.. but I guess we will see in the coming episodes.

 

they really missed the boat. i was 99% sure the new boss would be...CHARLIE SHEEN.

that would have been the publicity coup of the century.

they blew it.

maybe there's still time. once spader goes are we going to go thru this all over again?

I love almost anything on AMC, except Breaking Bad. My wife and I tuned in ever week for the killing, but there's nothing like the UNDEAD!!!!

 

Thanks, Laura! I checked out Terra Nova tonight and it has possibilities. I agree there is going to be some "mystery like Lost" I hope they do it well! I enjoyed the two episodes I watched.

Fringe and Bones are my favorite shows. John Noble and Anna T deserve Emmys! Oh, Walter in this weeks episode using music to block out what he thinks are hallucinations was heart breaking. I love science fiction and this show is tops. I can't wait to see what happens on Bones this years, babies, romance and dead bodies!

 

I watched Both premier episodes on UK TV last night:confused It's ok,I'll watch the rest see what happens.

I will say there are a disproportionate number of black people killed in the first couple of episodes so some hollywood cliche's are being upheld nicely:-D

And the main story I kinda worked out in the first episodes so they can't hold that against you like lost "Time travelly stuff" without spoiling it.

 

I am not happy that they canceled Lie to Me, that was a great show,what is wrong with the networks all they seem to want is reality shows! Sigh!

I used to enjoy House, but what the heck are they doing with the show...ugh!

Hoping they show us Charlie and bug girl on Fringe and missing Peter!
Does anyone watch Supernatural. This season has possibilities, we will see..I love Misha and Jenson.
I guess I watch too much TV. I had foot surgery last year and could not walk for 3 months and started to watch TV on the computer and I am now hooked!
I guess I am twisted, I like Dexter!

 

I've only watched a few episodes so I've plenty left to watch,looking forward to hunting them down.

I really enjoyed it. I think it will turn out to be like lost but better.(Never did care for lost much though.)

 

I liked it too Tim, thought I was the only one....
I liked 24 ALOT, but around the 4 or fifth season, I got to thinking that if these things were real, mmost people would be dead for a heart attack as much stuff as they had going on.
Oh one thing that's not been mentioned, is anyone watching 2-1/2 men since Charlie Sheen left? We watched it the other night and it was really funny, and I'not much of a comedy guy.
