LoL. I lived in Dallas for about 6 months. Couldn't find any suitable work, came back to Htown . Seemed to me like your choices for employment in D were either degreed officework downtown or minimum wage crap jobs, not much in between. This was a few years ago.


I didn't think Obama had ever heard of Texas, the way he ignores us down here .
I don't even care if the door hits him in the a@@ on the way out .

 

Pretty much....Though oil and gas is booming again.

Even liberals agree he's a disgrace...that's right I said it.

Well, I know this is a bit risky saying this, but I will preface the the potential controversial statement by saying that I actually believe, as of today, that I would vote for Herman Cain before anyone else out there. We need someone with good fiscal sense, and I like some of the things he's been saying.
Now for the potential controversy, true as it may be, that the big O has a lock on the black vote, regardless of what he does . Racism is an unfortunate reality in our society, to deny this would be pure ignorance .

 

Been a big fan of the Herminator before he decided to run. Plus I recently acquired a taste for Tea. :-D:-D

 

I had never heard of him before this year. It's not that I think he's super awesome or anything, but he seems to be the only one with an actual plan . Not that a plan necessarily translates into anything once someone is in office, after all, we are talking about politics . . . .

Obama's biggest mistake, well, one of them, was enlisting the people who MADE the mess to occupy posts in his cabinet.

I tried to be lenient with the rope I gave him, but he still hung 99% of us out to dry with it...

Well, I'll just say that I really like President Obama and I admire him a lot.
Like many other democrats, I feel that he has been too conciliatory.
Cooperation and bipartisanship are a high priority with him.
It seems that now he has changed his tactics, which is really encouraging.

 

I don't know bo, honestly don't want to. Think I am out of this thread so it does not get locked. I will say that Cain has a lot of, in my opinion good ideas. And with running several companies, a couple that were going bankrupt, he turned them around. :cool

 

If anybody wants 'em, I have four extra tickets for the Robbie Knievel (son of Evil Knievel) event at the Ford Center next weekend in Texas .

Robbie is going to attempt to jump over 10,000 Obama supporters with a Caterpillar D-9N bulldozer.

Should be a good time.
