Anyone watching/listening to the Conrad Murray trial?

I'm quite fascinated by this trial for some reason. This alleged Dr. is toast in my opinion though I know that the defence has only started. I'm just waiting for Dr. White to get on the the stand as as there appears to be a growing rift between him and the prosecution's Dr. Schaffer, who was White's student. Should be interesting. I guess the defence is going to go for 'If the IV doesn't fit, then you must acquit' statement.:-D

At any rate, he's lost his medical accreditation at the very least. Very boring at times but some action at times too.

Damn, eating peanuts in the shell ATM, right next to my keyboard but have a fan blowing the skins away from it.yum:-D

 

guilty! No bail either, one tough judgement.

 

My prediction :
he will lose his license to practice medicine (at least temporarily)
he will get probation, no jail time.
Otherwise the left will be howling RACISM RACISM !!!!!

As I've said before I think this is a great example of why your doctor should never be your best friend too,he got wayyy to close to his patient and ended up killing him.

His motives? Money,fame,notoriety as being Michael Jacksons personal physician,the chance of becoming friends with one of the most famous people on the planet,probably all of the above.

And I think he deserves a harsh sentence for IMO being a quack,that's not to put the responsibility of Jacko's death on his shoulders alone I think if he hadn't been an easy doctor and wrote Jackson the scripts he wanted to feed his addiction he would have simply hired another doctor and I think that was a fact Murry was fully aware of.

So I think Jacko would have ended up killing himself eventually anyway even if Murray hadn't been his enabler.

EDIT the scariest thing for me is realising Jacko died two years ago,Good lord! Seems like yesterday:-D

 

No kidding, right Rikky ! I was honestly getting tired of seeing the trial every time I turned on the TV.
Also, Augie, I'm not talking about rioting in the streets. It doesn't take another Rodney King for the usual criers and players of the Race Card (Al Sharpton, Jessie Jackson, New Black Panthers, other local/regional community activist figures) to throw out the race card. At least where I live, it's standard procedure. I'm honestly tired of that sort of thing. People are born with a certain skin color,so that can't be helped - but everyone chooses their behavior, regardless of genetics and environment . That is the difference. I don't feel that MG is really the proper forum for this type of discussion, though, so I'm gonna leave it at that .

I didn't realize that Dr. Murray was already in custody until I watched the news this evening. I assumed he was out on bond (shows how much I've been paying attention) but I'm willing to bet they will grant time served and then put him on probation. he won't be practicing medicine any time soon (if ever again).
And yeah Jacko was messed up. If it wasn't Dr. Murray feeding him whatever he wanted, it would have been another doctor. I guess that's what insane amounts of money will do for you. When is the last time someone YOU knew even had as much as a housecall from a doctor (outside of a home-care situation) ?
