PC Slow and jamming after virus removal

Hi, My pc got slow after your guys helped me get rid of my malware etc. What forum do I go to now when I have no idea what is causing it? I know a script error keeps popping up, at first FB, now all searching. It takes me minutes to load some sites. It's shopping season - I can't have this!! Thanks for your support.:confused

 

So it was moved, but I have had no response...what to do? My PC is becoming even slow and I fear not being able to get on much longer.

 

Seems everything is slow; surfing windows (I tend to have 6 or more tabs open in at least two windows at a time) just lock up at least once a surfing hour. Outlook jams and I am restoring sessions of both Outlook & IE a couple times a day. Word has locked up too. Some websites I cannot see photos on anymore and my Brother 8045D laser printer keeps coming up with a generic error. The script error is generic too - unknown script. If that is due to Facebook ok, but seems odd so much is starting to crap out at the same time. The only things open in my task bar are Ad-Aware, Norton Ghost, and MS Security Essentials which is currently off. Many times it has locked up and I have had to power down to shut down. Boot does not seem slower than usual, but that isn't saying much. Things get stuck open on my task bar - for instance right now my Brother Control Center and NVidia Control Panel are showing and I cannot get rid of them. Brother is even ther after restart - sometimes. Uploading photos is very slow now. Simple things like moving from one application to another (example: IE to Word) can leave me with a white window for several minutes. Brother appeared when asked to print but didn't - it remains on my task bar, unresponsive to clicking and wont close when I right click. I remains after restart. NVidea did not.
I have tried starting MS Security Essentials but it hung up and gave me "the oeration returned because the timeout period expired (0x800705b4), it does seem to be "on" now though.
Free disk space is 56%. I am suprised my C drive has the most memory used 16gb out of 34, as D is my storage drive. I am not sure how old the pc is - maybe 5yrs.
To tried to attached print-screen of current start up apps but it said file was too big - more than dble.:confused

 

I should have mentioned the print-screen I was trying to attache was of the WinPatrol. I disabled nvidea, Brother - all known components of each, but that still leaves about 24 items. My system is not faster.

 

I just got a warning from a yellow triangle on my task bar that my virtual memory was low - how do I verify this? The triangle is now gone so I cannot tell you what program it was. Thanks for your help.

 

I dont have "system mtnc" there. I am running XP.

 

I have clicked change "virtual memory" but to what end? Am I supposed to post what I saw?

The slowness is still present, especially noted when I try to load pics from camera. EI still jams consistently and closes so I am forced to restore last session several times per day.

 

This may be off base but it helped me.
