A truly hilarious argument

At least to me it is :-D

For some reason Target’s facebook page is being targeted for complaints about opening on “Thanksgiving” (even though they are opening at midnight). A lot of other stores are opening much earlier but for some reason Target is taking all of the flack, so there are a lot of complainer saying that they should open on Friday and not Thursday but what these silly people fail to realized that 12 midnight IS the next day!!. So as you can see, some of these people aren’t the brightest crayons in the box. Below is my of the most hilarious conversations with one of these people..

It takes one to know one, stranger

 

The ones whinning are funny. This is a retail establishment and EVERYONE knows BF is a huge shopping day. There is no union and so Target can say sayanora to all of them at any time. In our area at 15% unemployment there is no shortage of willing workers.

This is all the fault of Walmart for opening earlier this year.

 

Personally I don't care what opens or when, if my boss wanted to open xmas day then let him, I would say he can shove it if he wants me to work but anyone willing to work has no baring on my life. The shop being open makes no difference to me either and if my wifes boss wanted her to work a day like that I would tel him to shove it as well.

Funny thing is, no one says anything about pubs and bars being open on these days....... whats the difference?

As for the person arguing with you Dyamond, I actually nearly clicked reply to jump to your defence :-D reflex!
People that stupid should not be allowed near other people or communication devices.
Pure pig headed and total avoidance of your questions. That kind of ridicules arguing is the exact reason this board is the only one I log into anymore.

Instead of worrying about shops being open on holidays, we should be more worried about the lame things we do to celebrate the season.

Where are you that the pubs and bars are open?!? I'm having to watch the Lions game online because football is not allowed on the TV at my house and there isn't anywhere else to go!

Me, I have no problem with places being open...as long as their employees are being fairly compensated for having to work a holiday. This is the first Thanksgiving I've not been doing a show in I can't remember how long, but we always get paid double time when we have to go in on a holiday.

 

Well I'm not really talking about thanksgiving since the whole concept is pretty new to me, England has the Harvest Festival which is similar celebrations to Canada's Thanksgiving. A celebration of the Harvest etc.
I'm basing my ramblings more on Xmas, although most of the bars and hotels are open here in southern Ontario on Thanksgiving as they are on xmas... Same back in the UK.

Greedy corporations tryna keep the economy going and bring it out of recession giving people jobs,products and services in what's expected to be the leanest holiday season in recent years.

Sounds like the kind of guy that will re schedule dinner to midnight just to be right and move the midnight game of catch the greased pig to dinner time...

 

That would suck to work somewhere where you were told to come to work like 8 to 10 hours early, right after Thanksgiving....

I did my black Friday shopping online. Was so tempted to get another rifle, but the voice of sanity prevailed. I did find a killer deal on ammo. :-D I don't get all the Black Friday hoopla. I don't shop that day. Well, maybe online. I have no desire to go shopping at midnight.

People are crazy.. Nothing is worth that much to me. I must admit, I was in rare form on friday as I don't do well around large crowds off ignorant people and almost smacked the look of someones face :-D

I did get some really good deals on some VTech stuff for my nephews which are usually pretty expensive. There were just so many people at the shopping center they had at least 5 cops in different locations directing traffic and this was at like 5pm on friday!! :-D
