I'm not sure if it is associated with each other, not even sure if it is a malware effect but possibilities are it is not. When I boot my laptop, it gets this beeping sound for some moment saying of a booting problem or so, and asks me to choose between windows 7 and windows diagnostic tool. When I continue to boot here comes the cases:

-Backspace does not instantaneously respond when used, and when it does it completely erases typed elements

-Sometimes, when windows explorer is accessed it seems to be refreshingto desktop directory back and forth or could it be doing a previous action over and over creating a refresh like thing that does not end

-When visiting web sites, it goes back previous again, to the extent it may reach the homepage again.

Help is highly appreciated, even just replying for a moment that you are looking into this. Thank you and Merry Christmas!

    Hi

Its possible that this is malware but to rule this out the below would need to be followed and a clean bill of PC health issued from our malware team and then we can try other trains of thought to the issue

But is your Windows 7 PC fully up to date with all MSFT updates and at Service Pack 1?
In device manager do you have any yellow ! marks by any device and if so what?

No yellow marks in the device manager.

Regarding if I am up to date with MSFT updates that I am not sure and I think this is not service pack 1 but home premium. I'm thinking a driver update can do this, but I cannot find a driver searcher+upgrader that is free, tried some of the given downloads here.

But what about the bleeping sound everytime I start up?

EDIT: Ive posted logs on malware forum now. And thank you for the reply at last! much appreciated!

It could just be a bad key since you get beeps at startup before Windows starts. Have you really listened to the beeps, like one short/one long etc.? Check out the BIOS makers site for interpretation of the beep(s). I'd guess you have a bad keyboard. One way to check this out is to see if your BIOS has an option to turn off the 'halt on any keyboard error' and see how the boot up sequence changes.

I wouldn't say that this has no chance to happen but my laptop keyboard still seems fine and sleek though I dont know how to check for its physicalities.

How do I do the above bolded' and underlined'?

I don't know what brand you have but tapping the F2 key while booting up might work. Check your online manual if it has one.

I am trying the bios beeps though its inconsistent, also, what type of bios is F.07?

What do you mean by F.07?? What's the brand/model # of your machine, maybe I can find something. Varying beeps really makes a case for hardware failure. I hope it's still under warranty.

Pages 136/137 of this pdf manual, if you have the keyboard option then turn it off save and reboot.
