I had a look at the lastest version of firefox and to be honest it's running slow loading up and browsing web pages.

Just FYI rockmelt has just launched their new rockmelt beta 5. I recommend in giving that a try.

I updated FF in 6 windows partitions on 5 computers and haven't noticed any slow downs and no blank start page on any. One computer I have google search set up as the home page.

No problems at all with Fx 9.0.1. Very fast and no change in startpage search which is set as homepage.

    I'm tired of reading Mozie's release notes/changelogs.
They should start to develop anti-malware software. :-D
    Cheers..

    Hi David,

We need to get with it. FF11's Alpha is already a relic, time to mess with FF12! :-D

Got to admit that being on beta, nightly or whatever can be quite addicting. Tried beta for a while but now just on release channel and yearn to try betas once again but won't. :-D

I have given up trying betas for quite a while (unless I need to test something, like some old bugs in LibreOffice 3.5.0 beta).

I am quite happy with the 64-bit Waterfox 9.0
