Ipod Touch help

I hate apple, I was given an Ipod touch, Im used to Mp3 players that use the drag and drog funtion, I dont want to "sync" with my laptop..but I dont know how to get mp3s on to the ipod touch?

I think the screen will be nice for me to listen to lectures I have on mp3 or books, easier than the small single line screen of my cheap mp3 player
can someone help me with how to get mp3s on to an Ipod Touch?

imacsoft ipod to pc transfer works.

 

Use itune, tell it manualy manage media, then bam drag drop like normal.

 

I have a PC and when I transfer the songs, I dont see it on the ipod

 

Do you know if iTunes plays more audio formats then Mediamonky?

 

I used desk aid which puts the files on my computer, but I can't see them on the ipod, i only see them when i hook up the ipod to another computer that has desk aid

how can I use use my ipod touch as a jump drive?

anyone know how to take a note I made on the IPOD touch and send it to my email address? ok I know how to do that, but how do I send a emai to my IPOD touch to have as a note?
