I'm using Outlook Express 6, OS XP Pro, SP2. What has happened is that I have gotten a routine email (just this one is the problem and all others are OK) from Google Alerts that I can not open nor delete. When I click on it, Outlook freezes until I shut it down with Task Mgr. or by closing the program via the X which can take forever. Any help in getting rid of this email would be appreciated.

    Hi

If its from Gmail or another online email service, logon online to the service and delete that way, other wise try booting into Safe Mode and deleting.

Thanks, David. I tried safe mode and that didn't work...same results. As far as deleting the message that came from Google Alerts, I logged into my account but saw nothing to delete mail it had already sent to me.
