I lived within 400 yards of an Indian restaurant who's computers I fixed so much like motc's my sphincter has taken a pounding over the years:-D

One possible reason - in the Christian Liturgical year this is the seaon of Lent, some people do fast (or abstain from certain foods) for spiritual growth in their relationship with God.
