    Hello,:cry

I run Microsoft MSE found the Alureon and recommended that I download their offline tool to remove it. I did that and after removing it using MSE offline windows no longer boot. I tried safemode and it doesn't work. I also tried system restore and that also didn't work.

I then discovered this site and found I probably should of use TDSSKiller first. But now I can't boot to windows I can't do that anymore.

I found instructions to ran the FRST tool so I tried to run FRST64.exe (I was running Win 7 64) and I get error "f:\FRST64.exe is not a valid WIN32 Application" then I tried to run FRST.exe and it tells me "The susbsystem needed to support the image type is not present."

    Your Help Appreciated
    Ali

I found this on another forum and worked like a charm.

upon pressing F10 during boot and was presented with screen like following.
    EDIT BOOT OPTIONS
    path: \windows\system32\winload.exe
    partition: 3
    hard disk: somenumber....
    /NOEXECUTE=OPTION /MININT

I backspaced over /MININT and left /NOEXECUTE-OPTION and pressed Enter to submit the change and the system booted right into Windows.
    Very interesting.
    Working now.

Thanks for the response, Yes I still need help. There is still something wrong with my PC Win 7 64. Every time boots I have to do the F10 routine and remove
/MININT or it will not boot!!! Please advice:confused

Do that routine once more, but when you get into Windows, open Command Prompt with Administrative privileges and type in the following command:
    • bcdedit /set {default} winpe no
