HELP!!!! Can't get on the internet, windows says file is lost

    I have an Acer netbook with windows 7 operating system. I tried to go on the internet last night and when I click on the firefox icon on my desktop a window pops up and says windows cant access file is lost.......what to do??? Any and all help is very much appreciated : ):confused

    I'm pretty sure it is infected. None of the browsers will go, the same window pops up with any I use. :cry
