Having problems installing Adobe Flash and my monitor constantly shuts off.

    Hi, I recently have been given a Dell Precision 470 but I use my monitor from a Dimension 3000, it constantly shuts off depending on what I'm watching, also I cannot install Adobe Flash on it, right before installing it it says failure...etc.

    Also it a message pops up everytime I go in the internet asking me if I really want to go in this website like the firewall was on, I've tried shutting the antivirus eveven, if someone could help me it would be much appreciated.

    Hi

    What Windows version and Service Pack are you using?

    What Browser and version are you using?

    Can you run the below and see how that works for you.


    Do if possible tell us the exact verbatim error message that you get as they can tell us alot of the issue you have.

    Thank you I was able to download all the software, now my internet problem is it always says "The internet site you are about to view uses certificate that has expired or is not yet valid" And asks if I want to proceed.

    Still having problems with Adobe.

    I was wrong, it didn't correct the problem, it cannot install Adobe Flash 11.1.102.62.

    You failed to mention the version of windows you are running and the browser you are using.

    What means "cannot" - what happens when you try?

    Can you try downloading the latest installer(s) from http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html - make sure you download the 64-bit installer(s) only if you have Windows 7 64-bit; for all other systems download the 32-bit installer(s).

    You must close all browsers and messenger applications before running the downloaded installer(s).


    P.S. sorry, I just noticed that David had already provided a direct download link for the installers on the MG site.

    New Flash Player versions can behave badly when running older display adapter device drivers. Updating the drivers helps in most cases (Flash crashing, hanging, slowing, incorrect colors, etc.)
