Profile Sigs, how long can they be?

I was trying to change my Sig in my profile. It says it is too long. It is under two lines of text. I have seen others with much longer sigs. What up?

 

Says this when I try to change it: "Your signature contains too many lines and must be shortened. You may only have up to 2 line(s). Long text may have been implicitly wrapped, causing it to be counted as multiple lines."

Sig I want is only 2 lines. :confused I think you are doing it just to mess with me. :-D

 

This was changed a long time ago, and *bribery of Admin is about the only way to correct it.

There were some signatures changed back at the time of the 2 line limit change, mine being one of them.

Odd, it shows up as 3 lines here. I would not think it is excessively long. Now, in here, it is just one line... The plot thickens...

 

The Editor box is not as long as the screen.

This line in mine fills almost one line.
"Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not"

 

But, it shows up as only 2 lines in my editor box...
