What's up with my Youtube?

So when I play Youtube videos, they skip (skip the way a record does, they don't play contiguously). The red (play) bar can be behind the grey (buffering) bar, and it does it. The video can be fully buffered and it will still do it.

I just did a big malware session in another thread, so my computer should be clean

Lead on, wise ones- where do I begin?

No, the malware fixes didn't affect the Youtube issue. I've tried updating Flash but it doesn't help. The problem occurs in both Firefox and IE.

 

They could be updating there system Or Main in other words but is the happening all the time

 

Okay boston_019, so this issue with the skipping is something that's always been going on? Meaning, even before you ever got the malware - YouTube was skipping then too?

It's been going on for several months. I rely on YouTube to listen to music as well as watch videos for school. Without knowing when I got all that malware, I would say it was before the malware, but I can't be sure.

What is your display adapter, driver version & date?

I've had lots of trouble attempting to update this driver. In some places Intel says they won't support it anymore.

 

I'll look into those utilities. I cleaned the fan and heatsink about four months ago when I upgraded the RAM.

 

This is the last driver released for that specific display adapter.
