Custom Caller ID

Do you have custom caller ID's on your smartphones?

For example, crazy woman calls up, instead of it saying that "Mandy" is calling, instead it may say something like "Crazy Witch" calling.

what say you all?

 

Unless you're asking something I'm not getting, I've been able to do that on every phone I've ever had. You just type whatever name you want for that person when you add them to your contact list.

 

I believe they are referring to the Talking Caller ID feature built into some phones or installed by a third party vendor. Instead of a ring tone they speak whatever name you have the person listed as in your address book.

 

Nope, just text that shows up on caller ID.

I know it's been around, but was just asking if people actually fart people's names off on their phone, and if so, what are some of your gems?

 

I have: Ignore #1, Ignore #2, Ignore #3, Liar, Mooch, Freeloader, Freak. Most of these numbers are sent straight to voice mail so it doesn't even ring.

 

I have all my superiors ("Lieutenant", "Captain", "Chief") along with an alarm ringtone.

 

When LauraR calls, it says on the caller ID "Cuddly Chops"
