SD memory card recovery help??

I really need some help

Our house was burglarized while we were away on vacation.
I took a ton of photos with a digital camera of the damages to our home.
Well I tried to upload the photos on a computer that i borrowed from my neighbor since our computers were stolen and turns out the SD card is corrupted.

Well we found a program called cardrecovery.com that appears to be able to recover corrupted files. we tried the trial version and I do now see thumbnails of my photos. To buy the license is $40 or so. Has anyone tried this program or know of another that I can use. I need these photos ASAP to send to my insurance company. I called to several places locally and the least expensive I could find was $250. Any help for this newbie would be greatly appreciated!!!

There's 2 programs listed here, free. There's others if you look, but I trust Kim's advice.

I went to her site and used the Freeware Zero Assumption (ZAR)
It worked like a charm
I was easy, fast and best of all FREE
My memory card was corrupted however ZAR recovered all 604 pictures with no problems.
