   Mouse virus infected my computer and a laptop on my home network. Not sure which one was infected first. Ran Avast boot scan and found some Krypt virus. Mouse cursor stays stuck in middle of page. bought a new mouse and it works. When the old ones plugged in the cursor still frozen in middle of page. Suggestions?

   Yes, throw the old mouse away. It is more than likely not a virus. The mouse is more likely broken.
