Anybody heard from augie?

The only other thing I can think is to contact local hospitals to see if he's been admitted,they won't give out any info but they may be able to get a massage to someone who can?

My recent incident is- I fractured my back coughing. Emphysema and osteoporosis are not a good combo. Waiting to get it glued back together. It's supposed to be a simple procedure.

Sorry to hear that you are having more problems,hopefully when you are glued back together all will be good.
As for me i am great as long as i do not try to do any form of exercise,my surgeon suggested i have another operation for my back but i said i have had enough and will just live with it as long as the painkillers work.

Was thinking about this at work today and wondered the same thing.

Well I hope so, all I know is it's worrying me.

I'm kind of hoping he won a junk load of money and decided to sit on a beach for 3 months on an island or some such.

 

Augie loves his computers and the i-net, so I doubt if it's a good thing at all.

 

I have telephoned him several times but i just get that the number is not in service.
Gloosit has also sent a snail mail in hope the he or some member of his family can give us some news.
It has been so long now without any word i am concerned for his health.

 

Looking at gloozit's public profile, he has not been back online since February 19.
I think a snail mail would had a pretty good chance to get there by now.
Unless augie/family has requested that no information be revealed.:confused

 

Every time when visiting MG I am checking out if augie is back. Missing him terribly and am very worried.

Well at this point all I can say is that I wish him well and hope whatever the reason is, that he is doing O.K. with it, or at least as best he can

Just came across an old PM from augie which got me thinking about him again.

Nothing new here in almost two months.

This is really sad.

Augie is one of my favorite people here.

Helpful, good humored, engaged with a lot of folks - a good guy for sure.

 

I am still hoping he will pop back in here. I hope he is OK.

 

I have finally given up hope of finding information over Algis (Augie), i have just tried one last time to telephone his home but the phone is still out of service.
I have resigned myself to the fact that if Augie wanted us to know what the problem was/is he would have given some indication on the forum.
I really hope he is OK and in time will return but i am now leaving it up to him.

I have some family in Canada still with some extraordinary people finding skills. I don't want to pry but Augie did say you would know soon enough, meaning that he thought news of what he was dealing with would reach you. Something went awry with that. If you want to share so of his info with me privately, I'll see if my cousin can locate him. Socialist medicine can have it's advantages, systems are mostly linked.

 

I have a lot of friends up there also that I could ask if I know some info on him.

I basically agree with you on this, Glooz. Augie knew what was happening to him and when, and he decided for whatever reason(s) that he wasn't going to share with anyone. So be it.

Once again, I just hope what ever he's up to, he's doing well

@Gloozit... I have to give you respect for not digging, must be hard but as you say, if he was capable at the time then he would have said, he clearly didn't want to and if that's his wish then we should all respect it.
