Can't access gmail.

Backstory-
I created a gmail account to sign up for a game, forgot the previous ones I've used over the years.

I can access the game through it still, but when I go to access the actual gmail account through Google I can't get in, says my passwords incorrect, could swear I used the same password for the actual account to log into the game. I chose the "forgot password" option and it gave me the option to send a recover e-mail to my recovery address : d*********7@hotmail.com
or answer my security question.

Now, I know for a fact that, the hotmail account it lists is not my secondary e-mail they had me set. The secondary email in my primary g-mail account I use always set as secondary.

So, I decide to answer the security question. Low and behold it won't take my correct answer.

Now, it's not really important, just if my account gets compromised, I do not have access to the original e-mail address to change my password, nor can I change the e-mail the account is tied to. I have two game accounts tied to that e-mail address and would not like to start over.

Is there anything I can do? I doubt I can e-mail Google through another account and inform them of this.
